To insert Music in PowerPoint follow these steps:

  • Select the slide where you want to play music. If you want it to be heard only in one, you will have to position yourself in that one.
  • Find the Insert menu click and look for the sound option.
  • Select an audio file on My Computer. PowerPoint also offers the option to record your own audio at this point but if you have selected a sound just search for it.
  • Find the file in mp3 format and select it to insert it into the slide.
  • For the song to play correctly, go to configure the sound. To get it look in the playback menu.
  • In this menu you will see the tab to start the sound. Select the option to start automatically.
  • To hide the music sound icon select the “Hide During Presentation” option so that it does not appear on the slide during your presentation.
  • To play harmony on a slide just press F5. The sound will play automatically if it is added to the first slide or when it reaches the slide where you placed the song.
